For a dynamic international trading company headquartered in Amsterdam’s Zuidas, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant for 24-32 hours a week.
Wat je gaat doen
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and booking incoming invoices and handling payments for both Dutch and Australian offices.
- Managing the accounts payable inbox and responding to inquiries.
- Supporting colleagues with questions regarding outstanding invoices.
- Handling foreign exchange forward contracts, including all related administrative tasks via the bank’s online platform and ERP system.
- Optionally assisting with VAT returns, if there is interest.
You will be part of a team of three colleagues in the Accounts Payable department.
Wie ben jij
- A completed MBO-level education in administration or finance.
- At few years of relevant work experience, preferably within an international trading company.
- Ideally, experience with international VAT returns.
- A service-oriented and proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English, Dutch is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).

- A salary between €3200 and €3800 based on 40 hours a week
