Interim Finance Automation Specialist

We are looking for a Finance Automation Specialist to support a fast-growing international organization that has expanded through acquisitions across more than 20 countries. In this role, you will focus on building scalable data and automation solutions that improve financial processes, reduce manual work, and enhance data quality across the business.
Working closely with Finance, IT, and Data teams, you will develop technical solutions that enable efficient data processing, reporting, and process automation within a complex, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
- Build automation solutions to streamline finance and operational processes.
- Transform, cleanse, and structure large datasets from multiple source systems.
- Integrate data across systems using SQL, APIs, FTP, and other interfaces.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and independently implement technical improvements.
- Support the resolution of accounting backlogs through smart data and automation solutions.
- Implement automated controls to improve data quality and reduce recurring issues.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Data teams to deliver scalable automation initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights and progress updates to stakeholders in an international environment.
Wie ben jij
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, automation, analytics, or a similar technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and PySpark.
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Solid Python programming skills for data processing, scripting, and automation.
- Experience working with APIs, FTP, and system integrations.
- Experience with Power Automate and/or RPA tools is considered a plus.
- Affinity with finance or accounting is beneficial, but a strong technical background is more important.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently design and implement automation solutions.
- Experience working in large, international, and multi-entity environments is preferred.
Wat je krijgt
Hour rate indication for this interim role is €80- € 100 excluding VAT.
